What are homegroups

Homegroups meet from house to house throughout the week. Meetings often include worship, discussion of Scripture, fellowship, and ministry such as praying for one another. Yet, the agenda is never more important or significant than one person's need.

Each Homegroup is 6-15 adults.  Some groups actively include children, while others do not.

Homegroup life means:

  • loving, supporting, and challenging each other to serve God
  • sharing openly our victories and struggles in life and faith

It's not unusual today for people to be far away from family and somewhat isolated in the face of life's problems. God has blessed us to learn that His church is to be another family one in which we are loved, accepted, and forgiven. At Dayspring, we experience that love, acceptance, forgiveness, and support in our Homegroup relationships -something we all need.

You do not have to worship at Dayspring to attend a Homegroup.  Several of our Homegroups contain group members who attend worship services elsewhere.  We welcome anyone interested in experiencing God through a small group.
